My Hometown and Summer Vacation
My hometown, Seoul, helps make my life more convenient. Seoul is the capital of South Korea. It's not the largest in korea but most people live in Seoul. There is about 10,000,000. Because Seoul is the capital, people can enjoy the culture and use public transportation easily. Many various people take a trip to Seoul every season. So every day Seoul is very crowded and full, especially during the winter. Many people enjoy the winter festival such as celebrated Christmas and New Year’s, watch Han river's view and many kinds of concert. In the winter it is very cold but i don't like the heat, so I prefer to go to my hometown in the winter.

This summer I took a domestic trip with my elementary school friend. I visited many big or small cities like Jeonju, Yeosu, Busan, Andong, Gangneung and so on. The trip was very fun and excitng. However we went by train and moved about the city, so I was very tired. I think the best of them is Andong. Because Andong is a very quiet city and has delicious food. When I reached for 2 days, I ate Korean Set Menu with Salted Grilled Mackerel and Andong-style Braised Spicy Chicken with Vegetables. it was tast good and quantity very well. I went to Hahoe Village and Dosanseowon Confucian Academy. When I went to Hahoe Village in the morning, there were few people. It made me peaceful and comfortable because this village had a very beautiful natural environment and had many traditional Korean-style house. So I learned the Korea history.

Andong-style Braised Spicy Chicken with Vegetables
Gyeongju has many attractions. Anapji, Cheomseongdae and Silla Dynasty tombs are some of the most famouse attractions you can see in downtown Gyeongju. There are also many attractions near Bomun Lake, such as Gyeongju World, two teddy bear museums and the Sonje Art Museum. Finally, you shouldn’t leave Gyeongju without visiting Bulguksa, the famouse Buddhist temple,and Seokgoram Grotto. You can travel to Daereungwon Ancient Tombs near Express bus terminal. Around the bus terminal, there are many famous attractions such as Kyochon Hanok village, Woljeong-gyo and Yangdong Village lies to the north of Gyeongju. It is also a hanok village like Kyochon.
